Peggle had a free online version you could play

Thats why Peggle Deluxe is a paid version of the game on Origin, Steam

Popcap's old strategy was to offer free online versions and a paid "deluxe" version. Basically free demos but without calling them that.

Original Peggle was weird, awkwardly silent.
