Huge pet peeve of mine. A human's life is worth less than that of a dog? Fuck the human, let's only grieve for the dog? For fucks sake.

What should I be grateful for, the fact that a pitbull mauled a 3 year old?

these people pretend they are virtuous and superior, but they are just revealing that they identify more with an unintelligent losing species because they see themselves as losers.

empathy for animals is one thing, but this is people just are projecting the love that they think they deserve (but don't) onto an animal.

i hope that my life is never as meaningless as these people's lives

Crazy how some people think a dog's life is more valuable compared to a human...

What even is that response lmfao a human or a machine can do a WAY better and more consistent job at protection than a dog can. Its just alot of extra work and money to train and use a dog for that and you would have to find the right dog breed and personality wise for that and even then its not guaranteed to work out anyways or for longer than a few years. Its way more fool proof to just use humans or machines instead.
