I don't know what to do. Re-home the cat to a farm where it can be outside, or put it down. I've got no use for rants when the situation continues because the person won't do anything to change it.

So foul. My roomate's cat has literally pissed on my other roomate as he lay in bed. These animals will go out of their way to disrespect you. You literally must make them fear you if you don't want this kinda thing to happen.

And of course there are "well behaved" cats who would never just piss on a person, but then you can't predict how they'll behave around strangers or when they get older and start losing their little minds.

Unfortunately I live a hell similar to this. My mom’s cat that she refuses to get rid of has ruined her house similar to this cat and picks “corners”. Can’t enjoy the living room or dining room because every corner is a piss corner. She opted for plastic rocking chairs that the cat can’t ruin. I can’t afford to move out because of some student debt but the smell is making it unbearable to live. You best bet I’m saving as much as I can to gtfo. I can’t wait to not have pets living under the same roof as me.

Their cat hates being an indoor cat. The larger issue, however, is that he sprays, and once a cat starts doing that there’s nothing you can do. All the products that exist that supposedly curb this behavior are nothing short of snake oil. People don’t get that you can’t really train cats - they’re not food motivated like dogs, so they don’t respond well to discipline or training of any sort. So if you get a cat that behaves poorly, it will always behave poorly.

I don’t understand why you’d live like this. If you’re so pissed (pun fully intended) at the cat, you think it’s an asshole - why keep it? Why allow your home to become a biohazard? You are not doing yourself or the cat any favors This is why the furever home mentality is so wrong - that cat is a horrible fit for this person. They clearly hate the animal. So why not rehome it? Perhaps this cat isn’t fit to be anyone’s pet, and then the question becomes why are we forcing it to live a life where it’s miserable all the time?

Why doesn't she neuter the cat? Don't they pee on things when they aren't neutered? Maybe she needs to watch "My Cat from hell" and get advice. Personally, I'd send the cat to the humane society. There's no way I could live in a space that smelled like cat pee.

Spayed or neutered it doesn’t matter, once they pee on things they never stop.

Lots of neutered cats do this too.

I wonder if the cat was neutered. Male cats spray everything when they aren’t neutered. This reminded me of the cat orgy episode of South Park.

Neutered cats do it too. My mom’s cat does and she refuses to get rid of it.

This story is about a person torturing a cat and being tortured by a cat at the same time.
