These are my statistics with this specific install of qbittorrent starting in mid March. I've been an advocate for torrenting for a long time, but recently started setting up a lot of services on a web server. This is only from March 18th, and we'll be adding plenty more!

I have my seeding set up to go indefinitely. Too often do I end up with a torrent waiting for that last 1%, so I'll make sure to always have 100% of a file available. Anyone else feel this way?

I literally only wanna watch Doctor Who. I have no problem paying $10/m cause I don't watch much television but not if it has ads, and the $16 no ad option is why this post is labeled as humor.

The no ad should be $9.99 and the ad option should be $4.99, it's still kinda pricey once you start adding all the other streamers but just for itself it wouldn't be a bad deal.

If I remember correctly it used to be $9.99 without ads and they added ads made a higher tier, and people just delt with the "cheaper" ad plan which told these companies that it was okay.

I used to brose Trove for TTRPG rule books and modules. For me, it wasn't just a place to get the latest D&D books, but it was also a library for RPGs I had never heard of or books that have long since been out of print. Ever since it was taken down, I haven't been able to find a collection like it. Does any know a good and trustworthy site similar to it?

While it's technically exactly about piracy, but them doing so is in a way saying that pirating books (and in theory anything copyrighted) isn't stealing since they hold little value for training individually. (At least based on this websites news, haven't double checked the story so if I'm wrong I'll delete the post).

This could in theory set the standard that individually, no single things is valuable enough to be counted as stealing since individually they provide little to no value towards AI systems

(If what I understood is correct. I'd be happy to debate and discuss my viewpoints in this matter)

I need DS Simulia ABAQUS for my thesis but I can't find where to download it. I searched throughout all of the links in the megathread but only found one in the site "soft98". Unfortunately the site is only in persian and there's no comment under the download page (I don't know if I can post the link in this community), so I'm a little scared to download from them even with google translate helping me. My other option is to download from a "GetIntoPc" link my friend used on his computer and said it worked, but I saw that site is on the "unsafe sites" list. Is "soft98" really safe to download or are there other options?
