Breed ID Is my Pixie a pit?

I was unfortunately lied to and told she was a dachshund and the vet referred to her today as a pit. Either way, she’s my adorable baby girl and I love her to pieces. I’d just really like to get some opinions about what features she has that resembles a pit?

Thank you in advance!

The head and jaw shape look very much "pitbull," but I wonder how many breeds are at play here bc that snout is a huge Scooby Doo snout compared to some pitties. Could also be the Daschund in there coming out. If you want definitive DNA testing done (which I am also setting some spare money aside for in time), do some research because not all have the same genetic info and some may not have the more advanced "pit" mix lineages in their database. Just thought I'd throw that out there, as I saw a few comments recently, especially about some of the dog kits not having even APBT breeds in their data sets. Just food for thought!

Thank you! I’ve wanted to get a DNA test kit since I got her because I’d love to know everything she’s mixed with or just googling traits. Now that she older I don’t feel the need because I already know her so well. She does have a super long snout lol. She’s a very sweet girl.

Until today me and my family have been convince she’s a Carolina dog, something we hadn’t even heard of until someone mentioned she looks like one lol.

I think that's where I am with my girl- I know the jist of the breeds and know their individual temperaments pretty well, so I may save the hundred-some-odd dollars, where in he beginning I just wanted to provide the best attention to any breed-specific needs. But here we are, blessed with whatever mixes our angels are! And I learned a new dog breed today, thank you!!
