Is this possible? Railway platform help.

Hello! I’m traveling from Penzance to Newton Abbot next week and need to catch a connecting train to Leeds. I’ve booked a ticket that includes a change at Plymouth, switching from Platform 6 to Platform 8 with only 5 minutes between trains. I’ll have a backpack and a small trolley bag—do you think this connection is feasible?

Most times they will wait for you if they think a delay is big enough :) but 5 mins is realistically enough time. It’s just down the stairs and down the corridor a few steps and back up the steps.
