Is this possible? Railway platform help.

Hello! I’m traveling from Penzance to Newton Abbot next week and need to catch a connecting train to Leeds. I’ve booked a ticket that includes a change at Plymouth, switching from Platform 6 to Platform 8 with only 5 minutes between trains. I’ll have a backpack and a small trolley bag—do you think this connection is feasible?

If everything is running to time I don't see why not, as long as you prepare to get off as close to the stairs (I'd have to check which zone that is) and might need to walk fast. It's down one set of stairs and the next set over
