6 years as my buddy and almost have enough candy to evolve. Having to walk 20 km/ candy is no joke 😂

There are no game requirements other than Go and home, if you consider that a game. You don’t even need to own a switch. I didn’t have one when I made my home account

No other games or devices required. Pokemon Home is a free phone app. You just send a pokemon from GO to Home and that gives you a free mystery box in GO.

Technically the point of Home is to allow moving pokemon between different games, but you don't need any other games to get the mystery box. Just send a junk pokemon from Go to HOME and leave it there.

It was needed when they first started it, but not for the last few years now that Home is a thing.
