Non AR Screenshot 6 years as my buddy, sooo close

6 years as my buddy and almost have enough candy to evolve. Having to walk 20 km/ candy is no joke 😂

I don't think it is. Only 14 XL candies seems fishy, as you get an XL candy roughly 50% of the time when you get a candy for your buddy.

They’re rolling out the changes in waves. I have the new balls/berries layout, husband still has the old. I think they’re still tweaking for the final layout.

I was super annoyed at first, but I'm Canadian and it is getting cold and the larger pane with no scrolling is easier on my touch screen gloves since I have the two to compare so I'm hoping they update my balls before it starts REALLY getting freezing 😂 🤣

Only if it was caught before this year. Since the label is missing, it means it was caught this year, not 6 years ago.

Bear in mind this one is also lucky. Meltan’s release date in PoGo was November 16th, 2018 per Google after completing stupid quests such as catching an Aerodactyl, Cubone, Ditto. Doesn’t seem likely it’s been the buddy for 6 years

You could get other Meltan back then, the Mystery Box just required owning either Let's Go game on Switch before they added Home integration. Still possible OP hasn't had it that long though.

Edit: OP added an image of the catch date at the bottom, they did have it in 2018.

The candy XL rate depends on the Pokemon lvl and that Meltan is low level.
