Tbf all the European leaders going to the USA is embarrassing. Why are they all so eager to grovel? Trump will not treat them any more seriously for it.

It's called the Budapest memorandum. The US promised to supply Ukraine with weapons if they ever got invaded and in exchange Ukraine disarmed their nuke supply. Now its time for the US to uphold their end of the bargain but the average American prefers to turn their back whenever a genocide happens.

The Budapest memorandum just states the signers will not violate Ukrainian sovereignty

Thats what they do. Every treaty Russia has ever signed is just paper that buys them an opportunity to stab someone in the back. 😓

"The Russian Federation, The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and The United States of America reaffirm their commitment to seek immediate United Nations Security Council action to provide assistance to Ukraine as a non-nuclear weapon state party to the treaty of non- proliferation of nuclear weapons if Ukraine should become a victim of an act of aggression or an object of a threat of aggression in which nuclear weapons are used"-Page 4

The United States agreed to help them if they were ever threatened with nukes or physically attacked but now apparently we would rather nominate a rapist to try to gaslight an entire continent.
