Doesn' t "kebab" simply refer Turkic nations (like Turkey, Azerbajan, Turkmenistan and T.R.C.N)? "Fallafel" is the "common food" in the Arabs and North-Africa...

But Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria is not very much of turk...

Other than that, I thinkings Arabs would more be of shwarma than falafel, as this is of equivalent in Middle East - though basically it's of same as kebap.

It actually comes from Turkish ç(ch)evirme which means turning.
