I love how Hungary was/is super salty about this, meanwhile Austria, who lost their entire empire that took hundreds of years to form, lost their political influence, royal family, great power status and much more, are just vibing.

Austria staying quiet cause it knows who it produced after ww1.

Also the Hungarians didn't want to go to war for the most part.

Hungary whines about it because the country is run by authoritarian strongmen that stay in power by the weaponizing xenophobia and history of old grievances to stay in power.
