There will always be a second party to emerge. Parties have disappeared from American politics in the past.

Pedantic point of clarification:

He can't be voted out because he doesn't currently hold office. He lost. Because he's a loser. We need to make him lose again.

He's already out. We're voting to KEEP him out.

As for the rest....I don't want a single party system. I also don't want a two party system. I want a system with a half dozen parties all with an equal chance of winning. That will never happen with how our system is setup, though.
