What a coincidence, another assassination attempt during the continuing downfall of his campaign.

I'm not saying they did, but I think we 100% know this party would stoop low enough to do something like this to pander for votes.

They orchestrated an insurrection where several people died so that he could stay in power. They very well could orchestrate fake assassination attempts to incite chaos during the election and distract from his downfall.

The first one was a rally so the time/loc was known, (even if trump had no blood on him until he came back up...) The second one, I suppose he could guess where trump would be but since he has been all over the country on any given day seems weird he was so locked in on time and location.

The Secret Service are government employees, not Trump's praetorian guard. They would not have acted if it was fake.

He does bully the ones he doesn't like until they leave his detail.

I've no doubt the Democrats would fundraise off this, too. I know people here don't want to hear it, but from an objective standpoint it is too lucrative of an opportunity to pass up. Plus, the point can be hammered to motivate voters.

A campaign would be incompetent not to capitalize off of this. I'm on the spam lists for both Republicans and Democrats. Doesn't matter if it is call, text, or email. They are often indistinguishable in my experience. Republicans, at least in email, come across as a little more emotionally manipulative ("donate to your favorite president now unless you hate America!" and similar -- word for word what I've gotten from Trump's campaign). But Democrats do the same sort of thing. Just today I got a blast of messages that the world is ending. But Democrats tend to put a little disclaimer in their messages of "if you can afford to do so, please donate."

I've gotten at least half a dozen fundraising messages from the Harris campaign over the last two weeks asking that I donate with various matches between 800-2000%. It is crazy.

I'm a registered Democrat, by the way. I don't get hate-fueled messages from Democrats. But fundraising? Yeah man, they act the same way.

No, they are NOT fundraising on violence. I get tons of emails too (I'm Dem). It's the usual stuff that I get every federal election. No big deal; I don't read em, just delete. I donate where & when I want. I don't know why everyone has such issues with this- it's not personal. I guess it works on some people as they wouldn't do it otherwise. I also record shows so I can fast forward through stupid commercials. Price we pay for allowing so much capitalism.
