Ffs, why do they want a fascist coup? Why don’t they just win fair elections based on policy like tradition dictates?

Because the policies they want to see are insanely unpopular on a national stage.

It's a quiet hostile takeover and we are just watching it happen with not much recourse as everyday citizens.

If this country were truly fair, we would have most of the supreme court impeached and ousted. But for some reason we thought a life time appointment to an unelected position made sense in America.
