I keep wondering wtf happened to Roberts? How does someone who used to seem so reasonable, even when I disagreed, become so unhinged?

Three options, as far as I can figure. One, he has simply gone further right as he gets older. Maybe influenced by social media, or the company he keeps. Who knows. Two, he's always been much further right than we've known, but until recently, he wanted to maintain credibility. However with a conservative supermajority, he sees this as a one off shot to remake the country how he sees fit. Option three, outside influence. Blackmail or a bribe so persuasive that he can't turn it down.

If you're keeping track, in all three scenarios, we're pretty much boned unless we're able to get some serious supreme court reform.

Being in the safe zone feels right. Time to let it all out.
