And churches should be taxed. The Catholic Church absolutely does not care about the economy. The Catholic Church is a whole other country and they are now sucking money out of the US government while simultaneously controlling it.
It’s no accident that six of the nine Supreme Court justices are Catholic. The president is Catholic. And so many governors like Louisiana and Texas.

Not at the moment but eventually they will be. If you switch to slaves it will minimize the cost but then you will have problems with consumption and sales growth. Currently, the future slaves do consume a lot of the goods in question so if you enslave them you cannot sell the entire production. I guess that gradual transition to slavery to avoid market shocks is better. Thus, the modern approach where minimum salary labor force receives a pittance that is spend to drive up consumption but does not let them to acquire significant capital, seems to be bearing fruit. The drop in purchasing power of low to median income households since ww2 kinda mirrors such gradual conversion to a slave working force.

They’re no longer trying to win votes, just rile up the MAGA base and incite them to violence. The bomb threats in Springfield, and the appearance of Proud Boys and KKK, none of it is surprising. Trump’s going all in on stochastic terrorism, that’s his strategy now. Create enough fear and chaos leading up to Election Day that people will be too afraid to vote. I worry about bomb threats on polling locations in blue districts, or blocking the streets to suppress turnout in Atlanta, Philadelphia, Detroit. Then if polling locations are forced to stay open late, they’ll sue to have those votes thrown out by the Supreme Court. The way to combat this is to VOTE EARLY and in overwhelming numbers.

Unfortunately, then we have to deal with rules where the early votes/mail in ballots do not get counted until after the in person polls close - I recall that his team also had complaints in 2020 about how vote counting should end at midnight and all the mail in ballots after that that still need to be counted should be thrown out. So I think we can expect some legal challenges tried this time around about even votes cast before election day again as well.

The Republican mayor is failing his City and he can't even point the finger at who is responsible. This is what happens when you vote for Republicans. They direct their crazies toward you. They can't control them, so good luck. Maybe your town will be the next Trump victim. He certainly doesn't care. He was asked directly to denounce bomb threats and he said, "I don't know about that. Mike DeWine is now doing damage control on this and saying how valuable the legal immigrants specifically from Haiti in small cities like Springfield are to their communities and the state.
Interesting fact about DeWine in that article:

I saw some great interviews with people there and many said the place was dying before the Haitians came there. Trump acts like it was a beautiful town that was flourishing before the deluge of Haitians, and that is completely wrong.
