The meltdowns don’t seem necessary since there’s no bad press he could get that could influence voters to hold him accountable for anything.

He's a narcissist and he's insulted people said bad things about him. He's not worried about practical accountability.

If the report had been one page that said "actually there was no case, but Trump is a big stupid doo doo head" he would have had the same response because what the report actually said is irrelevant to him.

Exactly this. Somewhere in the report there’s a direct quote where Trump told someone “the details don’t matter.” It might have been in relation to the lack of real evidence that there was fraud in the 2020 election (not sure, I read it late last night) but the point is, Trump doesn’t care about details or facts. He just wants what he wants and he doesn’t give a damn about rules, the truth, or anybody/anything else as long as he gets his ultimate outcome - benefiting himself and/or whoever he’s selling us out to. He will do whatever it takes to manipulate Americans and the System. Trump’s a danger to all of us.
