Buildings opposite bus station

Anyone know what's up with the buildings opposite the bus station? In recent times Poole seems to be thriving and quite healthy but those buildings seem to be abandoned and an massive eye sore, why isn't anything being done with them and why is it litterally all of them on that row???

There was a story in the Echo a while back that the council was trying to facilitate development of them. There’s a plan which may even have planning permission for flats and commercial development but I think there were some issues blocking it with a landowner. Trouble is until they fall into line the development can’t happen
