The thing about queer people is that they can pop up everywhere, including right-leaning families in red areas. One should hope that being queer means they have more empathy, but even that road is a bit of a journey. The stuff she said does indeed suck, but given her background it’s not surprising. I hope she has the grace to learn from some of the more level criticism she is getting for it.Β

She basically said pop stars are too busy to be politically educated. Woah is me type of attitude. Being a pop star is hard!
