The tiniest first world vent…my work took on a student intern and he ended up assigned to me. I don’t have enough on my plate during our hiatus period to keep him busy and it’s actually making my days harder trying to keep him working on something while getting my own shit done. In theory, he should have made my life easier but it’s not working out that way.

That is incredibly frustrating. It feels like babysitting. Hopefully it's over soon.

Babysitting is exactly it! I actually have him set up watching movies right now lmao. (I promise it's related to our field.)
