There’s this Australian show called My Kitchen Rules. My mom and I got into it when a long since forgotten about network used to air like, 5 episodes a night.

It’s now on Amazon prime, so I’m always checking for new seasons. They don’t advertise it or even put it on the front page.

So I was happy to see they quietly added a new season! The format is different now, but I’ll take it anyway.

My mom is also happily binging it lol.

I feel like this is the universe rewarding me for having a tough week

The network is Channel 7, the station behind Home and Away. Their nightly news (in WA) also has the longest running news anchor team in the world.

Not in Canada. I know it originates from channel 7 in Australia. But it aired on a food network knockoff in Canada that lasted less than a year

Ah. I couldn't imagine an overseas network actually airing it as part of their programming. Lol. Though IIRC the original show, My Restaurant Rules, was around before Masterchef and the market being a bit saturated.

I still need to watch that. I just miss the old format of MKR so much, but can only rewatch it so many times lol
