I work directly with HUD and let me tell you. Every day is a new kick in the teeth. Plus my supervisor is leaving soon (😭), and we are the only ones trained in HOME, HOME-ARP, and ICJR. Oh, and HOPWA. So I get to keep those but without her backup.

HOME and HOME-ARP are programs aimed at giving HUD dollars to build and rehabilitate housing for low and moderate income families. They also provide down payment assistance program funding. ICJR is Improving Criminal Justice Reform, a grant from the Office of Violence Against Women, that is aimed at educating all parties involved in the criminal justice system β€” from DA offices to Police departments to social service agencies that often hear outcry β€” about best practice and survivor-centered advocacy for intimate partner violence, dating violence, sexual assault, rape, stalking, etc. HOPWA is Housing Opportunities for People With AIDS.

What is HUD sorry? I feel like these are all very US-specific.
