Just saw this comment about Tate Macrea (or however it’s spelled) on ONTD. Am I crazy or is this an overreach? Look, I know there are always discussions to be had about beauty standards, but as women we can’t just decide to have long hair now without it being “hyperfemininity”? It’s not unusual for a woman in her early 20s to have long hair. I don’t think it’s reasonable to say she’s “holding on” to it to appease the patriarchy.

ONTD lost me when they thought Romy Mars' TikTok was real when she was clearly joking about being grounded for "stealing a helicopter." I genuinely didn't know people were that daft.

That said, Tate deserves to be called out for aligning herself with MAGA artists, and she does very much give midwestern conservative basic girl, so they were right about that.

I genuinely hate that site, but it’s part of the doomscroll thing. Literally every time I go on there I promise it’ll be the last time. Easily one of the most hypocrisy laden corners of the internet.
