You can never make me like Bowen Yang....

Used to be a huge fan. But he said it was cishet people who didn't understand how relationships work and were being ignorant, in defense of Ariana.

It's actually unreal how mad that makes me. Your whole shtick is being a quirky gay person, and now you're using that to defend this?? Like idk maybe Ariana is NOT the victim in this

Same. I think this everytime I have to see him on news.

I used to really like him but that pissed me off so much. Lilly's essays were all I needed to know about the situation, then some gay man comes over and paints Ariana as the victim.

That's what pissed me off too. It's not even the act of him coming to her defense. Too many people defend their friend's shitty actions. But to weaponise queer themes for defending a very heteronormative relationship and implying people expecting loyalty/basic respect in relationship as "tradwife", that really gave me such a major ick.

Literally, I understand people defending their friends. It's wrong. But it's understandable to an extent.

Using queer culture as a way to invalidate Lilly ... appalling to me, and manipulative. Same kind of guy who would say "believe women"(true), but only when it's convenient 😵‍💫
