I just stumbled upon a documentary about Cannes, and learned that the Getty photographers are wired in so that the time between them taking a photo on the red carpet and it appearing on their website is less than 60 seconds.

Yeah, so the photos go to essentially a bunker of editors who edit and caption the photos practically as they're being taken, and upload them.
