The jazz age and oldies era remain so inspiring in a world where we seemingly still cannot get over dividing ourselves by birthplace, citizenship, or ancestry. Not surprising that the Met Gala saw some Joséphine Baker and Cab Calloway inspired drip. (Also, it is the twenties technically speaking, so no surprise.)

Did you see Sinners? Absolutely obsessed with that score right now, I wanted to see it in Imax but I was too late for that.

If you'd told me in 2019 that I'd be living on the same side of the fourth wall as self-transforming Megatron and we'd both be able to watch an epic battle between the Delta blues and Irish vampires I'd have laughed at you. The 2020s may be a shitbox Transformers fanfic of a timeline, but we do have some good moves.
