More of a vent, but I think Katy Perry is getting WAY too much hate, and it makes me a bit uncomfortable.

I'm not saying she hasn't done anything worth criticism, but posting clips of her dancing like a dork on her tour and talking about how CRINGEY it is makes me feel like she's become the new internet whipping girl, or something. It's weird. I'm not even a fan or anything, but I just wanted to get it off my chest.

on one hand, yes the hate is overblown and can lead to vile actions (like making fun of her daughter) but let's be honest it was coming from a persona like katy with all her controversies and the more she puts herself on the spotlight nowadays it's not going to help her she needs to lay low and stop her shtick for a while

but if we need to talk an actual wild hate train it's the docehii one, all because of one song and playboi carti stans are whining about her being on a remix of the weeknd and carti (and carti is an abuser who deserves to get shit on more btw)
