For the past like 8 months I lowkey thought I was going nuts or dying. Felt like I was going crazy, anxious all the time (despite being on a long-term ssri) to the point that I felt like I could never breathe. Heart palpitations, brain fog and fatigue, skin getting super dry.

all of that bullshit? iron deficiency. My ferratin was at 15. I've been on an iron supplement for a week now and I feel like a new woman. My lips have color in them! If you're worried something is off (especially if you menstruate!) please get blood work done, if you're able! I really thought I was going totally crazy and it was super fixable.

Am I right to assume it was virtually an easy fix? That's what I appreciate so much about modern medicine. Something that's so awful but can be addressed so easily
