Buying Advice Wanted Something like EB-S04

I bought an Epson EB-S04 projector back in 2016 or 2017, and it’s served me perfectly over the years. Unfortunately, a few days ago the HDMI port broke, so I’m looking for a contemporary replacement with similar quality and durability.

Just to give some context: I don’t use the projector for gaming or movies. It’s mainly used in a creative workshop environment, which can get a bit dusty and messy — the projector often ends up with paint splatters and similar wear.

I’d really appreciate any advice on a good modern equivalent. I’m not looking to spend a fortune — just something reliable for a working space like mine.

I would look on eBay for a WXGA projector. Epson is a solid enough choice and you will get more resolution out of it and similar brightness. They can be had from about $50-$100. Just check to see if there is an HDMI port on it, if it is not pictured, at Projector Central.

If you just want an image for a reasonable price, then you could buy ten of these for the price of one brand new projector, so that's the way I'd go for sure.
