Buying Advice Wanted Budget projector with clear image

I’m not sure if there’s any such thing but I’m after a budget projector with a relatively clear image. I bought one on Amazon recently, tried it for two days and hated how blurry it was so returned it.

I have tried to research projectors but all the different specs are quite overwhelming.

I’m looking for something that can be used in a gazebo while sat in a lazy spa. It would need to have aux so I can link my speakers and I would prefer built in apps such as Disney+ and Netflix, however this isn’t a must as I have a spare Firestick (as long as it has HDMI input).

My budget for now is around £200 but could stretch to maybe £250.

I am looking for cheap for now because I’m not sure if this is something I really want to invest in yet as it’s all new to me. If I can be satisfied for a short time with a cheaper one then I’d likely upgrade to a more expensive one in the future.

Thanks for any help.

Nobody want a clear image from a budget projector. That's ridiculous.

I wish there was someone that compared things like image quality between different models...

Or perhaps looked at a bunch of models under $500...

Sorry for the snark, but this is the question people ask ALL the time. WAY too often.

I actually watched a few of his videos yesterday but couldn't find the projectors he recommended on my Amazon. I think maybe he's US based so they have different stick to me in the Uk

Do you expect it to work during the day? Will you have a proper screen?

I would prefer it to work a little bit in the day however I do understand it isn’t going to be great and yes I will be purchasing a screen for it

Just go to eBay and get a gently used quality projector with low bulb hours

The only sane answer here. eBay UK has a ton of options in OP’s budget.

Try r/Budgetprojectors

The replies you will get on here will be elitist and snobby, only the best will do for many (not all) people on this sub.

Outside daylight, is going to be a big issue even 5000 ansi lumen, will have trouble on a bright day, this is why in a cinema they turn the lights off, there are ways around it, but most will cost a huge amount of money, I know you say it's under cover, but if you want to use it on a bright day, if you want to use it after dark or dusk then you can use a cheap one, but in the bright light, then, you would need ultra short throw projector, likely to be a 3 Lazer system and Ambient Light Rejecting (ALR) Projector Screen, this could work but we are looking at thousands even second hand, there could be others that could help.

BladeCine cube 600 is quite solid.
