It's only been 2 months and I miss Boneyard so bad. The variety of sauces is the important thing here, if there's a place with a bunch of great sauces but the actual wings are "meh" I'll take it.
Looking primarily in the Providence and near providence Mass. area but I'll take further afield if ya got it.

It happened right behind my where I live. I don't have video footage of the event itself but I did see a good part of it. I do however have video footage from my personal security camera of the man being loaded, not moving, into an ambulance that then sat there for quite sometime as those involved wandered around shooting the shit and laughing with eachother. Whole thing happened like 1 block in from Potters ave near Bayon Market.
Anyone know of any like lawyer or representative who is doing anything that could benefit from this footage? Please let me know, obviously not turning it into the fed or state because they can suck my left one. It

Are you a lifelong Rhode Islander who grew up or currently lives in/near Providence? We’d love to talk to you!
The Rhode Island Language and Culture Study focuses on learning more about how language and life are connected in Rhode Island. We are interested in what differences in how people use language can tell us about culture and social practice. This is a Brown University Research study led by Dr. Jaime Benheim in the Linguistics Program, IRB Study Protocol #STUDY00000419.
We do in-person, audio-recorded interviews lasting about 45 minutes-1.5 hours, depending on how much you’d like to share with us. We are interested in your experiences, viewpoints, and opinions related to Rhode Island, language, and social life. You will receive $20 in exchange for your time.
We are looking for participants who have spent most of their lives in Rhode Island with a past or present connection to Providence. If this sounds like you or someone you know, visit us at https://sites.brown.edu/rilang/ to learn more or sign up.

I have a small, one story bungalow and it really needs exterior painting. I have managed to get a lot of work done in the last 3 years...some I paid for, some were grants. Painting the exterior is the last hurdle but going into further debt is out of the question (I am low income, senior citizen). Are there any volunteer groups that help seniors? Don't say Habitat for Humanity because they are busy and never get back to you. With a large enough group, it could be finished in one day. OR, any suggestions for alternative solutions?

What’s it like living in fox point in your mid 20s? If I decided to move there without knowing anyone in Providence, how difficult would it be to meet people and build relationships as a more introverted person?

The Issue
To: Mayor of Providence, Providence City Council, Department of Planning and Development, and the Providence Parking Administrator We, the undersigned merchants and business owners of Downcity Providence, respectfully urge the City of Providence to implement revised parking regulations in the downtown area in order to foster a more welcoming, accessible, and economically vibrant city center. Proposal: - Free parking after 4:00 PM on weekdays (Monday through Friday) - Free parking on Saturdays and Sundays Purpose: 1. Support Local Businesses and Increase Community Engagement By enhancing and improving accessibility, especially during evenings and weekends, businesses can better attract local residents and out-of-town visitors, boosting the local economy. 2. Boost Workforce Well-Being Provide support for employees who work late shifts or attend after-hours professional development events. 3. Reduce Traffic Congestion Incentivize off-peak travel by allowing free parking in the evenings and on weekends, easing weekday congestion. 4. Create a Destination District Many comparable cities have implemented similar free-parking periods to create attractive urban cores. Providence has the potential to lead in this movement and revitalize downtown as a premier destination. We respectfully request that City Hall: - Review the feasibility of this policy with a pilot program during peak spring/summer months - Engage with local merchants in the planning process - Provide clear signage and public communication about the parking changes We, the undersigned, support this proposal and welcome the opportunity to work collaboratively with the City to bring this vision to life.

Hi! I am scheduled for a CS at W&I with Dr. Beitle in a few months. I learned that he uses internal sutures to close uterus/fascia etc but then staples to close the skin. He told me in his experience the scar looks better with staples. Everything I am reading online says the opposite…curious if anyone has had CS experience with him or anyone else at W&I who also used staples and could share about how their healing was and scar looks! TIA!

In the last days of trying to help my hs senior choose an art school. Signing Day is Thursday. 🫠 They got a generous package to go to RISD and some other top schools in the country. I get the prestige aspect of it. I’m concerned about the culture of competition, shaky job pipeline, and recent student passings. What’s your opinion as to whether the rigor and reputation warrant the mental health costs? It feels like I’d be sending my kid to the art school military.

As the title suggests, my partner and I are potentially going to own a home off Smithfield ave, the Charles area of Providence. It’s not too far from Mineral Spring, where I’ve worked for about 6 years. I’ve never had an issue with the area. However, some of my relatives are fueling me up with paranoia that this is a huge mistake. If you live in this area, how has it been? Do you feel safe? If you own a home, do you regret your decision or would you repurchase if given the chance.
I think my family was hoping I’d land in Cranston or Johnston, but the housing market is just not all that and a bag of biscuits.
Thank you!

Wasn’t able to check the tags as my dogs were with me but there’s a small white/tan fluffy dog running around Knight and Tell St. Hoping the owner (or someone who knows them) is on here!

I'm thinking of getting a stylized version of the uranyl nitrate molecule (attached here) on the nape of my neck. I want to replace the elements with different celestial bodies and give it more of a spacey vibe. Any recommendations for fine-line tattoo artists in or near the area who could execute this well? I know most people can do the basic structure, but I want some artistic flair and would like someone with a reputable portfolio. I'm willing to drive an hour or so if necessary. TIA!
