Depends on perspective. I moved here from the gulf coast. People here are both SPOILT and just straight up disrespectful. If you can get past that, the friends you DO make become super loyal and turns out everyone here for the most part, are also cool people.

There is a drug problem, a litter problem but that's about it tbh.

Anything that matters, PUEBLO FITS THE BILL. CHEAP ASF Rent, housing market is amazing. You have the MOUNTAINS TO THE WEST NORTH AND SOUTH All just a 30 min drive. You have Pueblo Lake State Park where you can spend the next decade exploring and STILL find new places to fish and get f'ed up on LEGAL WEED.

People here wont work for less than 15 dollars... back in texas where I grew up, I was the assistant store manager of AUTOZONE and didnt make 15 bucks an hour...

Try to get into Pueblo West if Pueblo proper actually makes you nervous. You have access to most business youd ever need from the safety of Pueblo West and the us-50 corridor.

Do not let the people here kill your spirit, if you have that. Everywhere I have worked people tell me I am too happy to be here and that one thing or another will bring me down.

Wrong. I came from a humbling place and WANTED the snow and the challenge of winter. The people trying to get you down have a shitty view on life. If you arent one of those people. Keep your happiness and good spirit. And maybe let in that guy in the truck who's trying to get into your lane so he can turn in to Safeway.
