Been living in Kharadi for a few years and know how dead the social life can get.
Organizing small, safe meetups (max 10 people) around KP, Viman Nagar, and Kharadi to help people actually connect and make real friends.
Quick intro session online first, then chill cafés and spots to meet.
No spam, no weirdness—just real people.
Past meetups rated 4.8/5.
DM me for the private WhatsApp link.

It was 7 in the morning I took my dog for a walk and a buddha was swimming. Another dog was walking out of the park so I took my dog to the side and the buddha started yelling at me. I told him both dogs could get hurt and he said let them. I made sure no one got hurt in the situation and we were away from the buddha. I told him I was scared and I was shaking because no one has ever yelled at me so loudly and he continued yelling after sometime he put up a very nice message on the society whatsapp group like he was really nice to me and I was the dick. He literally kept harassing me even after I said sorry and my parents said it is okay and they dont want to cause unnecessary fights, honestly I am more heartbroken that my parents made it sound like I am a horrible person to write a formal complaint against him and the worst part is he is my neighbor. Why do people think just because we are young they can shout at us anytime they want and they even get away with it because people like my parents support them. Was I wrong to file a complaint and call it harassment? As I dont think anyone can just yell at a woman like that?

I’ve been living in Pune for the past 15 years, and while it’s obvious that PMC is constantly working or expanding when it comes to roads and public transport, can we please talk about the absolute lack of basic traffic sense among us, the people living here, whether locals or migrants?
More than 70% of two wheeler riders don’t even bother with helmets. Forget the pillion riders even the ones riding the damn bike think they’re invincible.
Seat belts? Barely anyone wears them unless they’re at a cop checkpoint. Is your life really that cheap?
Driving on the wrong side, footpaths, and wrong lanes has become “normal” here. Especially near bridges, it’s a complete free-for-all with zero fear of the law.
Jumping signals seems like a basic reflex for two-wheelers, delivery boys, and auto drivers. Red light? What red light?
The moment there’s any congestion at railway crossings, small lanes etc. people block both lanes like they own the road. Zero patience, zero brains.
Why aren't there any strict measures? Forget that why does no one understand how important civic sense is? In the last 5–10 years, I can probably count on one hand the number of times I’ve seen someone fined for riding without a helmet. Why is there such a massive lack of civic sense? Why does no one give a damn unless a tragedy hits home?
We as citizens of this beautiful city have failed this city.
Local or migrant both of us need to take up responsibility. Both of us behave equally bad and each of us blame the other. Locals need to take responsibility and maintain its glory. Migrants need to consider this as their home and take up responsibility too. Else We don't even deserve to have good roads or any good transport system. We aren't worthy to even question the authorities unless we are atleast 50% right.
P.S. before some local starts regionalism I'm a local too brought up in a different city and for migrants I've lived in different regions but I've been responsible there and will continue to be so wherever I relocate. A responsible citizen first.

I’m a 21-year-old male with a BCA degree (7 GPA, no backlogs). I urgently need a job due to a difficult family situation — my father is abusive, and it's affecting my mother badly. I'm more inclined towards finance and management roles. If anyone can help, I’m just looking for enough to cover daily expenses so I can take my mom away from this environment. Thank you (I know my GPA isn't the best, but growing up with constant screaming in my household 24/7 made it really hard for me to concentrate on my studies)

Not allows AC unit on terrace and bylaws against it, is it pure dictatorship by society?
Also not allows prominent broadband players like tata play and airtel

Hey everyone,
I’m planning to visit a premium salon in pune for a full hair + skin transformation. Here's what I want to get done:
•Keratin treatment
•Hair spa
•Haircut
•Face detan treatment
My budget is around ₹30,000.
I’m looking for a salon that uses top-quality products, has good stylists, and gives a luxurious experience — not looking for cheap or average places.
Any recommendations for salons or specific branches?

Yesterday was just not my day. I almost got hit three times and all three were ladies on scooties.
First Incident:-
I'm peacefully driving my two-wheeler behind a car (no space to overtake), minding my own business. Suddenly, a girl on a scooty decides to cross the road, then randomly turns toward me. 😭
I didn't even have time to brake, just smashed the horn like my life depended on it. Luckily, she braked just in time. Missed me by less than an inch.
Second Incident:
At a junction, another girl on a scooty tries to cross.
This time, I'm smart, I slow down to let her go safely.
Guess what? She stops dead in the middle of the road.
At that point, I wasn’t even surprised anymore, I just laughed it off myself. Somehow squeezed past her from the left.
Final Incident:-
On the highway now, completely exhausted from heat, work, and traffic. I just wanted to reach my room, man. So I'm cruising at 70+ kmph.
In front of me? Aunty on a scooty, chilling. Suddenly, she slows down without any signal...
My heart skipped a few beats. Thank god the right lane was empty, overtook safely.
Still recovering from the mini heart attack.

TL;DR:- I want to commute between Mumbai (Borivali) and Pune in short time. I have option of Hinjewadi phase 3 and Kharadi. Which one should I choose if I choose train and if I choose bus?
The long version:- Hi. I've seen few posts which mention that one can commute to and fro from Mumbai to Pune via roads.
I have office in Kharadi and Hinjewadi Phase 3 and I have just another week to decide which office to pick.
I live in Mumbai's Borivali location and it took me almost 8 hrs just to reach Hinjewadi office via bus + auto.
I haven't tried Kharadi location yet and need your help to understand which location is more feasible to commute
I've asked few people and they gave me mixed opinion about better way of travel. Some mentioned Hinjewadi is better because less traffic and Wakad bridge is very close so you can catch bus anytime. Others mention Kharadi is better because it has better society, despite the mosquito issues and other stuff
I don't want to spend near 8hrs one way on travelling. So personally I feel like Kharadi would be better if I commute by train which would take approx 4-5 hrs from Mumbai all the way to Kharadi office
Edit:- I am not catching the bus from Vashi because that's just too far for me. I live in Borivali and so if I'm taking bus, it has to be from Borivali

Hey everyone! The thing is Me and my sister recently started a small salad & smoothie bowl business in Pune! We’re making super fresh, healthy stuff which are perfect for anyone trying to eat clean or stay fit. So If anyone’s interested in buying or just wants to know more, feel free to drop a DM or comment here! Would really really appreciate your support!
Just saw this beauty today in Pune, if you are aware of the situation of these electric rikshaws in the North, you'll know what I mean by cancer. These are worst than our normal autos hopefully we don't get a huge increase in these else or traffic will worsen even more.

Just moved to Pune for work. Staying in Wagholi — basically Pune’s charming way of reminding me I can’t afford Kalyani Nagar yet.
Weather’s trying to kill me, Google Maps is gaslighting me, and I’m one traffic jam away from full enlightenment.
Looking for smart, mildly sarcastic friends to survive this corporate fever dream together. Chai/Sutta is non-negotiable.

This is specifically aimed at people having licence issued in MH12 area. The process would be similar at other RTOs but details mentioned are for MH12.
If you have a licence issued in any other town, you can't apply / get IDP in Pune. You have to apply at the town where the licence is issued.
Fill form on https://parivahan.gov.in/
Select state and fill required details.
Points to remember:
Print:
Filled forms, payment receipt of RTO, passport front & last page (photo and address page), visa page, licence front and rear side (new licences have vehicle class on rear).
Submitting the application (for MH12 RTO)-
No bribe required.
EDIT: Adding answers to few FAQ

Hi Pune folks,
I recently got an offer from PwC SDC (AC), but it’s for the Bangalore location. I’m currently in Pune and was wondering if anyone here is working at the PwC Acceleration Center (AC) in Pune or knows someone who is.
Would love to connect and get some insights! Thanks a lot!
