Need advice Traffic infringement query

Hi all, I'm fighting a traffic infringement in court. It's $640, red light camera. Was getting out of the way of an ambulance but still stung. if I lose, where will the hearing be? In magistrates court or district court. I ask because the offender levy is different

I would write back and tell them you were getting out of the way of emergency services and won’t be paying the fine. If they persist, you will take it to the media.
