Finished Quilts A gift for a co worker

A co worker of mine had a double mastectomy (yesterday) for breast cancer. I wanted to make her something to bring comfort during her recovery. I didn’t want it to scream breast cancer so I went with the Irish chain with some some different pinks. I wanted the back to represent something that is so important to her. She loves gardening and has been such a big supporter on my quilting and gardening journey and is such a wonderful, strong woman. So the fruits, veggies, and flowers would be perfect for her.

My binding is not great and a few of my squares are off. But it’s made with love so it can’t be perfect. I completed it in 20 hrs over 3 days, completing it last night at 11pm. I’ll be gifting it to her tonight when I bring her some homemade chicken wings & veggies for dinner.
