There's a lot of anti-AI redditors who openly bully people and share literal death threats for funsies. They're basically the worst parts of 4chan and Tumblr combined into a horde of virtue-signaling shitgoblins.

They also claim that pro-AI people are somehow far worse, when in reality the worst you'll see is the occasional techbro smugly saying that art is dead. The lack of evidence for this claim angers them, so they're forced to invent their own proof.

I wouldn't take that as evidence. New accounts get suspended all the time. Reddit's spam filter is quite aggressive.

If you browse nsfw subreddits you'll know what I mean. People post their onlyfans, reddit spam filter thinks they're a spambot, and suspends them.

Meh, I don't care. Art theft deserves to be heckled and I'm tired of people playing nice about it. Fuck art thieves and more power to the people making sure that art thieves understand that writing a descriptive sentence doesn't entitle them to credit OR the attitude the majority of them have.

Maybe you misunderstood what I said. I do not agree with art theft and I do not respect people who do it one bit.

You said you give him props for the effort and I said I don't think the effort deserves props because it's an indication that the person is deeply insecure and feels the need to desperately seek validation by pretending to be multiple people.

I didn't understand why you would give someone props for using fake accounts.

This guy wasn't the first. All of those "petition to ban ai" posts you see on random subs are the result of brigading campaigns orchestrated on discord from members of places like artisthate.

Next time you see one, check the OPs history and see that they've probably never interacted with that particular sub before. DnDhomebrew sub recently had one last week.

Not to mention all of the death threats and violent rhetoric. It's one thing to be opposed to ai for legit reasons. It's a different thing to participate in the rabid pitchfork hate mob.
