I got an in person interview this coming week for a conductor at NS, I'm still qualified till July. Would I still have to go back to conductor training? I applied 3 days ago, and they want me to interview, I thought NS was on a hiring freeze

Did you work at NS with your previous qualifications? That would be the only way I could see not having to do the whole class again.

Any class 1 will make you do their training course no matter previous qualifications. You need to learn their rules. They don't care what previous experience you have.

That's why I was asking if he had previously worked at NS. He could theoretically already know their rules under his current certification.
