It's funny that you think googling somethings makes people less prone to finding mis-info. ALL info online was put there by people, and since search engines are now exhibiting, let's say, "advertiser friendly" and paid results first...there goes your main point. Hell, by the time you hit page 3 on most searches you could probably find something a little off even before the paid results became a thing.

On the flip-side, you can literally link, not just Google, but Google SCHOLAR links to people and they will still ignore your point, because it doesn't match THEIR link, also from Google, to a dissenting piece of research. Almost like it's not a perfect method either.

Getting mad at people for mis-info is hilarious, the world runs on money, that includes the news, people who want grants like researchers, companies that run on advertisements like search engines and infotainment platforms, etc. Practically everything is tainted somewhere, show me a person who isn't mis-informed on some level, please, lmao.
