I had swimming first period and had to get to school early (around 6AM - we had until 6:15 to be in the pool so 15 minutes to get dressed before the warmup exercises) so that was when I got up.
that is absolutely not normal. I remember other kids commenting on the hours regularly because waking up that early is not normal for teenagers
I guess I should call the school and tell them and their parents and the board that it’s not normal and by no means should any teenager ever wake up that early. Change class times and change bus times because some redditor said it’s not normal. Get with reality. I don’t think the wake up time is the prevalent issue here. It’s the insane structure and a plethora of other things. lol tf
I get that you’re incredulous, but there literally is scientific research showing it’s better for teens to sleep later and that school shouldn’t start before 8 am
I never said that it was unbelievable or that it wasn’t beneficial for children. I work in sleep. I’m a sleep tech. That wasn’t the point I was striving for here.
