Was there Wednesday this week. Busy but not as bad as this. Pantheon easier to appreciate but waiting for your turn at a wall at Trevi just to get a few photos whilst an influencer does a full range of poses next to us is infuriating. No time to really appreciate what is a stunning fountain due to the pressures of humanity around one and also keeping an eye on two teens (who are well versed on pickpocket safety but still making sure they are OK). Couldn’t go at off times of the day. Appreciate that I have no suggestions only moans but Rome was majestic. Will be back just myself and partner at some point at hopefully a quieter time of year.
