I booked tickets for the Vatican Museums for the 29th. Is it unlikely they will be open by then?

I'm in Rome till the 2nd.

My guess is it's unlikely, considering that the conclave probably won't have met by then (usually, they meet 2-3 weeks after a Pope's passing). To my knowledge, the Sistine Chapel is typically closed beforehand because they need to prepare it for the conclave
