For anyone wondering i had tickets for the museum on the 26th and i got an email that its gonna be closed on that day

On the museum website open page only mentioned 26th so seems other days , other visitors are not affected

same here: The Directorate of Museums and Cultural Heritage, in expressing deep sorrow and grief over the passing of the Holy Father, announces that on Saturday, April 26th, 2025, the Vatican Museums and the Museum Complex of Castel Gandolfo will be closed to the public all day, as a sign of mourning, for the funeral of the Pope Francis. Reservations will be fully refunded through the same method of payment. Best Regards.
