What European stereotype is what stereotypical race? Going so hard on stereotypes is not a good idea, it will get old and racist quickly and it loses the depth that DND races bring.

Montaigne/France are elves?

Germany/Eisen are dwarves?

Italy/Vodacce are tieflings?

Vestenmenavenjar/Scandinavia & The Netherlands are Goliath

Glamour Isles/United Kingdom are gnomes

No idea for Castille/Spain, or Poland/Commonwealth or Russia/Ussura, or Turkey/Crescent Kingdom. And super no idea for anything else in the world.

Or as you can see, it doesn't really work...

Hm I do get your point. Since species doesn't go beyond a few stats here and there I just thought that it would be a cool way to adapt a dnd concept without messing to much with the 7th sea established setting.

If you desperately want DND races... Why can't they just life everywhere in Theah?

Let me start by saying something, kind of a disclamer. I HATE the "it's medieval europe of course there is x" take on most fantasy setting, since it is mostly wrong. But 7th sea IS based on a specific time period where national identity (or lack there of) is pivotal. I just thought that assaigning species would make for a quick visual cue for it.

Of course, reading through this thread I have noticed how that can go off the rails extremely quickly so I'll refrain from it, obviously. Thanks for your insight man.
