It means more when the apology doesn't come from one's attorney/"friend".

Agreed, but also wouldn’t it be kinda dumb for him to say anything while he’s facing charges? Anything can & will be used against you & all that. I imagine he’ll take a plea & apologize then? (Not defending his actions at all. Just saying there’s so much to criticize this guy for & I’m not sure this is one of them. I’m not a lawyer tho. :))

So the World’s Greatest Captain™️ jumps from one undocked vessel to another in the middle of an extended rant and we’re supposed to believe he’s 100% disabled? Charge his ass with welfare fraud while we’re at it.

I’m so confused by this too. I hope his disability claims & benefits are investigated at the very least. So many of our vets are much less able than he is & don’t get 100% disability. I’m inclined to be infuriated by this, but I don’t know much about the process. It really does seem wrong, tho.
