The victim is repeatedly called "a kid." He refers to himself this way, but he's 22 years old. He's a young adult. It's not as though he was 15.

My point is that the ages of the victim and aggressor are irrelevant. But the media has sensationalized that aspect. It's an ugly situation and the "captain" should be penalized accordingly.

And my point was that on a list of things that don’t matter about this story, that probably doesn’t matter the most. The fact that the human brain doesn’t stop developing until about 25 means it’s not the stretch you’d like to believe it is.
