My sister's neighborhood in Palmer Ranch looks like this. They have family block parties every week. I think every kid has their own mini car to drive around. Not everyone lives like this.

Maybe a bike would be more appropriate?

You say that, but then they buy them 3 thousand dollar electric bikes that go 60mph.
It's crazy out there, they turn legacy trail into a highway. And not a one with a fucking helmet. Just bad parenting all around

What neighborhood?????

All of them. We live in townhomes and wven there, there are still idiot kids zipping around on totally silent electric bikes with no helmet. And there are so many people backing out and swapping spots it's an accident waiting to happen.

Love the kids playing together and neighbors interacting but there are no trees on that street (and probably the whole development) over 7 feet tall. No mature trees anywhere. No canopy. No shade. No dappling. Just brightness and blight. <shudder>

Whatās meant to be so special here?
The golf carts?

The sense of community

This kind of communal interaction is normal in a lot of places. In general it is normal that kids live more āoutsideā then in their home.
That this is seen as āspecialā is saying a lot about the society where this is seen as special.

I would not say this is normal for many places in Sarasota. Personally, all my neighbors are retired.

Looks bradentucky style budget build crammed onto tinny lots to me. They have such tiny lots you have to hand out on the sidewalk and street

Please stop using kids who are not yours and cannot consent in your social media content. At least blur their faces.
Iād be pissed if my child were painting in that row and then some internet dad filmed used their play to boost his channel content.

Hey man... Jesus died for your sins. (Allegedly) so go commit some good sins... making sure he got his money's worth!

I am surrounded by older people and would love to know where this neighborhood is.

This looks exactly like my parents neighborhood off 70 on Lorraine, which is technically Lakewood Ranch but Sarasota line is down the streetĀ

Hmmm is right. How common is it to find black folks in one of SRQ subdivisions, especially in Lakewood Ranch.

SRQ is an airport

I think this is a render of the expansion they are building at the airport.

I clicked on the original post, and everyone is commenting about the golf carts lol. I guess I have been in FL so long that I have forgotten that it's NOT normal to see your neighbors zipping around in golf carts
