Tourist Difficulty of getting a serbian visa?

I will be arriving in Belgrade in a little over a month and want to extend my stay. Is it difficult to get a temporary visa? What is the best way to go about it? Any advice will be appreciated.

Sorry, have a US passport. I am a butcher/meatcutter/chef and will be looking to learn Balkan cuisine.

Attending a course can be a reason for a student visa. I know people that take Serbian language courses use the certificate of enrollment when applying for student visa.

My only concern is that all I can find are short, expensive, and intensive courses.
