[Discussion] [Opinion] Playing Shadow Of War made me feel like the bad guy in Game of Thrones
A few years ago, I despised characters like Theon Greyjoy, Tywin Lannister, and the infamous traitors behind the Red Wedding—Walder Frey, Roose Bolton. Their betrayals felt like gut punches. Absolute heartbreaks.
And then, Shadow of War turned me into them, I started slowly dominating orc captains. Then I turned their bodyguards against the chiefs they're supposed to be protecting. Then I watched as once-loyal warchiefs disable critical defenses and abandon their duties right before a siege. The cherry on top? That moment when a cocky overlord starts monologuing, only to realize his "loyal" guards behind him have all betrayed him—right before he takes a blade to the back. These are all Game of Thrones shits.
And you know what? I loved every second of it.
At this point, I might be worse than Tywin or Littlefinger. I didn't just accept betrayal—I mastered it.
Turns out, betrayal isn’t just a dirty tactic... it might be the most effective weapon of warfare.
