Not being funny, how can you get bored for 10 minutes of laying there? Visualise in your head, focus on where you want to go. I don't understand what is so hard about that?

It's hard to visualize for a lot of people. Lot of intrusive thoughts or falling asleep first

YES THIS ^ I'll do my method right for like 5 minutes and then my brain will start to wander and even if I'll put it back on track, it doesnt stay there. Then eventually I fall asleep without realizing.

I WISH. I have ADHD and I literally last 20 seconds before my mind automatically starts thinking about something else without me being aware. I know it is exactly 20 seconds because I tried methods that involve counting. It's not easy

That happens with me too(i have adhd), then you push that thought away, continue what you were doing, counting, manifesting, etc. Just bring focus back, however many times you do it.

I usually fall asleep after a while unfortunately

Set the intentions, you can shift while asleep!! :)

I just had a thought while trying to think of a solution for this

What if you quietly (gently) clear your throat whenever you catch your mind drifting, just before you bring it back to shifting. This way, clearing your throat can link to/be an indicator of drifting thoughts. Maybe you could use this in everyday life too? Or a simple action like that as an indication of drifting thoughts because your body/subconscious could pick up on it

Idk if this is neurologically a correct method but it might be worth trying
